My research interests include (in no particular order):

• IT Automation – specifically the ability to automate tedious functions using short/simple programs or scripts.
• IT Process Improvement – in order to automate a process, you must first drill down and understand the process.
• AI Topics – While AI is incredible and beginning to embed in every part of our lives, there are many topics of AI that I enjoy researching and exploring including:
  • Paywalls and their affect on AI Research
  • AI Cannibalization and Model Collapse
  • Public Access Policy
• Securing Small Office/Home Office (SOHO) Networking – While their security may seem obvious and easy, it can be challenging due to the low (and sometimes no) budgets of the users and owners involved.

My non-research interests include:

• Kasm Workspace Development – My consulting business, SquirrelWorks, develops specific custom Kasm workspaces for use by cybersecurity personnels and hosts our own Kasm registry. See the SquirrelWorks page for more information.
• Simple Application Development – I create applications that do 1 or many things but do them simply and efficiently. My projects can be viewed on Github.
• Home Labbing – Home labs and home automation. Everything involved in it, including running my own home lab!
• Teaching – I teach basic IT Concepts to family and friends but am looking to branch out.
